This 44pp publication was commissioned by RMIT iAIR to document the 2016 Australia-Mexico Indigenous Arts Residency. The recipient artist was Cilau Valadez, whose practice is embedded with the symbolism and ceremony of his people: the Wixárika tribe of Mexico.
The publication is bilingual so we treated the body text in two colours to clearly distinguish between the two languages, English and Spanish. The images were very vibrant so we allowed them plenty of space throughout the publication and often bled them at full page for maximum impact.
