David Sequeira

This 80pp case-bound book was designed to accompany the exhibition by artist David Sequeira at Bunjil Place Gallery. The exhibition titled, All the things I should have said that I never said, was a grouping of three large scale works by Sequeira, the genesis of which began as an enquiry into the relationship between colour, geometry and human experience. The publication grouped the works into three sections divided by texts by the artist, curators and contributors. Images came from a variety of sources; scans, video footage and exhibition photography by Christian Capurro, Leah Jing Macintosh, Stephen McCallum and Kim Tonelli. For the cover we scanned textile swatches used by the artist to compose the kurtas featured in his work untitled, India. Using a digital press in production we were able to economicaly produce three alternative cover colour ways.
