Forde + Nicol is a design and digital development studio located on the lands of the Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung people of the Kulin nation. We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded and pay our respects to Elders past and present, and extend this respect to other Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Australians.

Boroondara Arts 2023
In 2023 Boroondara Arts required a campaign and identity that could be varied and applied accross two seasons. The Woi-wurrung word ‘Boroondara’ means ‘Where the ground is thickly shaded’. and this has informed the brief for the visual identity development. We used a torn paper illustration technique to create two graphic images to be applied to the two program covers. A flowering gumnut is used to represent the first half of the year followed by an image of a growing gumnut for the second half. The identity was applied to posters, programs and digital screens for the year.
