The Right Wrongs project commemorated the 50th anniversary of the 1967 referendum, when Australians voted to change how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people were referred to in the Constitution. Forde + Nicol worked closely with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation to create a microsite housing archival documentation alongside contemporary interviews that posed the question: How far have we come?
The project was an accessibility first for the ABC, and spearheaded the organisation’s shift towards making their digital platforms inclusive of all users, regardless of any disabilities that might prevent them from accessing the web.
